Welcome to Mexicairns! We want to ensure that you have an incredible experience when visiting our venue in Cairns, Australia. These Booking Terms and Conditions are intended to provide clear guidance regarding your reservation, payment, and cancellation options for all the activities we offer, including Bowling, Darts, Shuffleboard, Pool, Ping Pong, and Beer Pong. Please read this document carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities when booking with us. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Age Restrictions

• Mexicairns is strictly over 18s from 6pm.
• Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Parties with under 18s guest will not be permitted on Beer Pong at any time.
• Refunds may not be given if group members are unable to provide valid ID.

1. General Booking Information

• Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from Mexicairns. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us immediately to verify your reservation.

• Games Available: Our venue offers Bowling, Darts, Shuffleboard, Pool, Ping Pong, and Beer Pong for your enjoyment. Each game has a limited number of available slots, and bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Party Sizes: Bookings can be made for groups of 1 to 19 people. Bookings over 19 people are considered private events and are subject to additional terms and arrangements.

• Booking Lead Time: You may book up to 6 months in advance. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred time slots, especially for large groups or during peak periods.

• Age Restrictions: All guests must be at least 18 years old to consume alcohol. Guests under the age of 18 are welcome to participate in activities but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• Dress Code: Casual attire is welcome, but we reserve the right to deny entry if attire is deemed inappropriate (e.g., offensive slogans, unsafe footwear).

2. Payment Terms

• Payment Requirements: All bookings must be secured with full payment at the time of booking. No slots will be held without payment.

• Accepted Methods: We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure online payment gateway. Payment in cash is not available for advance bookings.

• Additional Charges: Increasing your party size after booking may result in additional charges, which must be settled prior to the scheduled activity.

• Pricing: All pricing for activities and packages are listed on our website. Prices may vary based on the activity, day, and time of booking.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Advance Bookings for 1 to 19 People

• Partial Refunds: Partial refunds are not available for any advance payment.

• Refunds and Postponements: Mexicairns cannot provide refunds within 48 hours of the scheduled time. We cannot provide a postponement of your booking within 24 hours of the scheduled time.

• Non-Refundable Bookings: Bookings made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable. Bookings made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time are also non-refundable and cannot be postponed.

• Last-Minute Changes: We are unable to process refunds or credit for any last-minute changes, such as a reduction in the number of guests. Any booking increased to more than 14 people will be subject to the deadlines for ‘Advance Bookings for more than 19 people’.

• Postponed Bookings: All postponed bookings are subject to the conditions above based on the original scheduled date. The rescheduled date for all postponed bookings must be within 6 months of the original scheduled date.

• Acceptance of Terms: By completing your reservation, you accept these booking terms and conditions.

Advance Bookings for More than 19 People

• Partial Refunds: Partial refunds are not available for any advance payment.

• Refunds and Postponements: Mexicairns cannot provide refunds within 14 days of the scheduled time. We cannot provide a postponement of your booking within 48 hours of the scheduled time.

• Non-Refundable Bookings: Bookings made less than 14 days before the scheduled time are non-refundable. Bookings made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time are also non-refundable and cannot be postponed.

• Last-Minute Changes: We are unable to process refunds or credit for any last-minute changes, such as a reduction in the number of guests. Any booking reduced to less than 20 people will remain subject to the deadlines for ‘Advance Bookings for more than 19 people.’

• Postponed Bookings: All postponed bookings are subject to the conditions above based on the original scheduled date. The rescheduled date for all postponed bookings must be within 6 months of the original scheduled date.

• Acceptance of Terms: By completing your reservation, you accept these booking terms and conditions.

4. Venue Rules and Regulations

• Check-In: All guests are required to check in at the reception desk upon arrival. You may be asked to provide identification to verify your booking.

• Punctuality: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are late, we cannot guarantee an extension of your game time, and no refunds will be provided for missed activities.

• Behavior and Conduct: We expect all guests to behave responsibly and respect other visitors and staff. Any unruly or dangerous behavior may result in immediate expulsion from the venue without a refund.

• Use of Equipment: All games and equipment are to be used responsibly. Guests are liable for any damages caused to equipment as a result of improper use. If unsure how to use any game or equipment, please ask a staff member for assistance.

5. Health and Safety

• Alcohol Consumption: Guests are encouraged to enjoy our range of beverages responsibly. Mexicairns reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated and may request that intoxicated guests leave the venue.

• Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are recommended for activities such as Bowling and Shuffleboard to ensure safety. Guests wearing inappropriate footwear may be restricted from participating in certain activities.

• Medical Conditions: Guests with existing medical conditions that may be aggravated by physical activity should inform a staff member before participating in any games.

6. Privacy Policy

7. Liability

• Personal Responsibility: By participating in any activities at Mexicairns, you acknowledge that participation involves certain risks, including but not limited to the risk of physical injury. You assume all risks and responsibilities for your participation.

• Venue Liability: Mexicairns and its staff are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss sustained by guests while on the premises, except in cases of gross negligence. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Mexicairns reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel bookings, or request that guests leave the premises if they do not comply with the venue’s rules or exhibit behavior deemed inappropriate by management. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

9. Changes to Booking Terms

We may update these Booking Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our policies, practices, or legal obligations. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on our website, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. Please review these terms periodically to stay informed.
