House rules
THE GAME
GATHER YOUR TEAM
You can play Beer Pong in singles or doubles.
SETUP
Arrange ten cups in a pyramid formation at each end of the table, with the
point of the pyramid facing the opposing team.
THE RULES
SHOOTING
Players take turns shooting a ping
pong ball at the opposing team's
cups. A ball that lands in a cup results
in that cup being removed and the
contents consumed by the opposing
team.
RE-RACKING
Each team is allowed to "re-rack" or
rearrange their remaining cups once
per game, typically when they have
fewer than six cups remaining.
TRICK SHOTS
Trick shots can be attempted at any
time during the game. You can creatively throw the ball, such as bouncing it off a wall or executing a behind-the-back shot. If successful,
trick shots count as two cups.
SPINNING BALL
If the ball is spinning around the rim
of a cup and has not yet touched the
liquid, players are allowed to try
blowing the ball out of the cup before
it makes contact with the drink
BOUNCING BALL
If a player successfully bounces their
ball into a cup, two cups must be consumed and removed from the table.
WINNING
ENDING
The game ends when one team successfully eliminates all of the opposing team's cups. The losing team
must consume any remaining cups
on their side of the table
