Join us for our final signature event of the year! Celebrate the vibrant traditions of Day of the Dead with live Latin music, DJ till midnight, margarita masterclasses, tequila tasting flights, smoked-meat feasts and free DOTD face painting. From marigold-drenched entrances to Insta-ready photo ops, we’re bringing the spirit of Día de los Muertos to life, Cairns-style.
Kick off your afternoon with brisket tacos and our smoked meats platters, then slip into a Mango & Jalapeño Margarita class or sample artisanal agave with curated tequila flights in the Agave Bar. 3 piece latin band ‘The Mojitos’ light up the venue from 3–6pm, the Cairns Street Salsa show hits at 6pm, and DJ Andresito keeps the dance floor moving from 6pm.
Pre-book your table and games early, or just turn on up on the day to join in on what will be a day to remember.
Dress up, paint up, and party with us — this is Mexi’s final signature celebration of the year and is not one to miss.
Tip: Arrive early for free face painting before the live band starts.

Join in on the fiesta at Day of the Dead! Learn how to make the perfect margarita from our resident Mexi mixologists at the cost of just a single drink. Hurry, there are only four sessions and space is strictly limited.
